Responsible Gambling — Stay Safe, Stay In Control
Last updated: May 2026
💙 Gambling Should Always Be Fun, Never a Problem
Football Predictions AI is an informational service. We do not accept bets and we do not operate a betting site. But because our predictions are read by people who place real bets with real money, we take responsible gambling seriously. This page collects the tools, signs, and help-lines we believe every bettor should know — whether they read our picks or not.
1. Set Your Limits Before You Play
Every regulated bookmaker is required to offer the tools below. Use them. Setting limits in advance is the single most effective way to keep gambling fun.
- Deposit limits — cap the amount you can deposit daily, weekly, or monthly. Once set, most operators apply a 24-hour cool-off before any increase.
- Loss limits — separate from deposits: stops play automatically once losses for the period hit your cap.
- Wager limits — caps the total stake regardless of wins and losses.
- Session time limits — logs you out after a set number of minutes/hours per session.
- Reality checks — pop-ups every 15/30/60 min showing time spent and net win/loss. Required by UK/EU operators.
2. Time-Out & Cool-Off
Need a break but not ready for full self-exclusion? Every regulated operator lets you take a time-out of 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or longer. The account is frozen for that period — you cannot log in, deposit, or bet. This is the right tool when you sense things slipping but want to keep the account.
3. Self-Exclusion Programs
Self-exclusion blocks your access to gambling — usually for 6 months to 5 years, sometimes permanently. National schemes block ALL licensed operators in the country at once. Use them if individual operator tools are not enough.
| Country | Program | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| GamStop | All UK-licensed operators | |
| CRUKS | All Dutch-licensed operators | |
| Spelpaus | All Swedish-licensed operators | |
| ROFUS | All Danish-licensed operators | |
| OASIS | All German-licensed operators | |
| RGIAJ | All Spanish-licensed operators | |
| RUA (ADM) | All Italian-licensed operators | |

4. Signs of Problem Gambling
Gambling becomes a problem when it stops being entertainment. Check yourself honestly against this list — if more than 2-3 apply, it is time to step back and seek support.
- You bet more money than you originally planned, repeatedly.
- You chase losses — placing bigger bets to win back what you lost.
- You bet with money meant for rent, bills, food, or savings.
- You borrow money to bet — credit cards, loans, family.
- You hide the extent of your betting from family or friends.
- You feel anxious, irritated, or restless when not betting.
- You skip work, school, or other commitments to bet.
- You bet to escape stress, loneliness, or low mood.
- You feel relief or "high" only when placing a bet.
- You have lied to a therapist, doctor, or counsellor about your betting.

6. Protecting Minors
Gambling is for adults only — 18+ in most jurisdictions, 21+ in some (US states, parts of Asia). If you share a device with anyone under 18, please use parental control tools to block gambling content:
- BetBlocker — free, blocks 8000+ gambling sites and apps on any device
- Gamban — subscription, blocks all gambling sites/apps on phone, tablet, computer
- Net Nanny / Qustodio — general parental-control suites that include gambling filters
Talk to teenagers openly about gambling: skin betting, loot boxes, and "free-to-play" casino apps are often gateways. Awareness works better than blocks alone.
7. Our Commitment
